Welcome to Wabi Luxury Game Reserve (“Wabi”, “the Lodge”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.wabigamereserve.com, and the reservation or booking of accommodation, activities, and hunting experiences offered by Wabi Luxury Game Reserve, legally registered as Waterberg Big Game Hunting T/A Wabi Game Lodge, under Namibian law.

By accessing or using this website, or by making a reservation or booking, you (“Guest”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making any booking or engaging in any activities.

 

1. Scope of Services

Wabi Luxury Game Reserve is a private lodge offering:

• Accommodation package;
• Optional private air transfers, with caravan aircraft;
• Extra activities;
• Hunting experiences.

All services are subject to availability and the specific terms and prices of each service as displayed on our website or provided in writing by Wabi management.

 

2. Reservations and Payments

• To confirm a reservation, a non-refundable deposit of 75% of the total package cost is payable upon booking.
• The remaining 25% balance must be paid prior to departure towards Wabi.
• Payments must be made according to the instructions provided by Wabi.
• Failure to make timely payment may result in automatic cancellation of the reservation without refund.

 

3. Cancellations and Refund Policy

• All cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 30 days before arrival.
• The 75% deposit is strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
• Cancellations made within 3 to 0 days before arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
• No-shows and early departures are considered cancellations and are charged at 100% of the total booking cost.
• We strongly recommend that Guests obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and unforeseen circumstances.

 

4. Guest Responsibilities and Conduct

Guests and their attendants must:

• Comply with all lodge rules, instructions, and safety guidelines provided by management or staff.
• Exercise caution and proper behavior during all activities.
• Ensure that children are supervised at all times, with full responsibility for their safety.
• Refrain from bringing pets, unless expressly authorized in writing by Wabi.
• Assume full liability for any damage to property, wildlife, or equipment caused by themselves or their attendants.
• Understand that management reserves the right to terminate a stay without refund if a Guest’s or attendant’s conduct is inappropriate, dangerous, or breaches these Terms.

 

5. Hunting Regulations

• Hunting activities are strictly regulated and may only occur under the supervision of Wabi’s professional hunting guides.
• All Guests must strictly follow the guides’ instructions.
• Firearms brought onto the premises must be declared upon arrival and accompanied by valid firearm permits accepted/recognized by Namibian laws.
• Firearms must be stored safely in accordance with Namibian law.
• Unauthorized persons are prohibited from entering hunting areas or handling firearms.

 

6. Assumption of Risk and Liability Disclaimer

Guests acknowledge and accept that participation in outdoor and wildlife activities — including hunting, hiking, and game viewing — involves inherent risks, such as but not limited to:

• Injury from firearms or animals;
• Exposure to wild or unpredictable terrain;
• Physical strain, accidents, or illness related to outdoor activities.

By booking, the Guest voluntarily assumes all such risks for themselves and their attendants and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Waterberg Big Game Hunting T/A Wabi Game Lodge, its owners, employees, collaborators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, injuries, or deaths that may occur during their stay or participation in any activity on the premises, except in cases of proven willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of Wabi.

Guests and their attendants are strongly advised to obtain personal travel, accident, and medical insurance before arrival.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All text, photographs, graphics, and other materials displayed on this website are the exclusive property of Wabi Luxury Game Reserve and are protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.
No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without Wabi’s prior written consent.

 

8. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, available on our website.
By using our website or making a reservation, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described therein.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wabi and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
• Any loss of property, profits, data, or enjoyment;
• Any injury, accident, or death arising from participation in activities on or around the property, except where caused by proven gross negligence or willful misconduct of Wabi.

 

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and all disputes arising from or related to your stay at Wabi or your use of this website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Namibia.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Namibian courts.

 

11. Amendments

Wabi reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
